Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Services

Carbonite Availability is a modern approach to disaster recovery given that in today’s compliance-driven environment, recovery time objectives and operations rely on minimizing loss of data and systems have to be securely provisioned across sites in a timely manner while maintaining audit trails, data integrity, and security in an economical manner be it on-premise, secondary site or in the cloud. The proposed solution addresses Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery with a combination of person roles, processes, and technologies.

Carbonite Availability enables organizations to maintain the highest availability of their Windows and Linux Servers across any distance by preventing downtime and data loss, by using a continuous replication mechanism that maintains a secondary copy without taxing the primary system or network bandwidth.  With support for physical, virtual, or cloud source systems or target environments, Carbonite Availability is a comprehensive replication solution for organizations with mixed I.T. environments.

Carbonite Availability for Windows provides real-time byte-level data protection for instant recovery of data and application service in a fraction of the time and effort required by traditional backup and restore technologies.

Technical Support Services with L1 support.

On the principle of an extended arm of your I.T. Admin Team.

  • Site planning with a comprehensive site guide to collect data of the physical infrastructure, virtual appliances, databases, applications, bandwidth, and networking details.
  • Identification and listing of Servers, databases, and applications to be protected along with the retention policies.
  • Prerequisites detailing – of all required inputs right from IT Infrastructure, power, communication infrastructure, team members from required disciplines, access rights, etc., conflicting software’s that need to be disabled such as antivirus which can make changes to the target or prevent changes.
  • Conduct a technical workshop to review the infrastructure listed above and identify any interoperability considerations to develop a plan for server protection and policy configurations, set plans for RPO and RTO.
  • Create Customer on Carbonite On-Demand Portal.
  • Implementation – Install, configure and tune Carbonite Availability for the Source and Target Systems, create source server and apply for source license, prepare target server and configure on-demand license using Carbonite console, create and execute Files and Folders protection job for replication.
  • Validate with Carbonite Console, the Source and Target Servers status, Files and Folders protection job.
  • Schedule and perform failover and recovery testing and verify the Carbonite on-demand usage.
  • Initiate mirroring and further continuous replication verification.
  • Monitoring the replication bandwidth to assess additional replication bandwidth capacity for the desired RPO.
